Levamed® E+motion® ankle support
- Good thermoregulation
- Flexibility despite movement
- Provides stability during stress activities
Description
Levamed® E+motion® is a support for soft tissue compression of the ankle joint. Thanks to high-quality Merino fibres, the performance ankle support has temperature-regulating properties. The support also withstands high stress activities at work, in everyday life or during sport: it stabilises the ankle joint and provides reliable support.
Levamed® E+motion® can be used when the ankle joint needs soft tissue compression with local additional pad(s). This includes slight instability of the ankle joint, sprains and distorsions, joint effusions and swellings due to arthritis and osteoarthritis. Thanks to integrated 3D silicone quartz pads, swelling - caused by oedema or haematoma - is reduced. At the same time, the structure of the support with its compressive knitted fabric can have a positive effect on the body's own guidance and stabilisation of the joint.
Besides its therapeutic benefit, the support also convinces with its comfort and sporty design. Thus, the extra-large Comfort Zone provides more freedom of movement, even during extreme movements. Whether during sports or in everyday life: Levamed® E+motion® convinces with its anatomical form and optimum fit. The included parachute silk donning aid makes it easier to apply the product correctly, quickly and comfortably.
Athletic users particularly benefit from the optimised breathability of the active fibre technology in the knitted fabric of the ankle support. The 3D silicone quartz pad is thin, allowing the bandage to be worn comfortably in the shoe, which contributes further to the bandage’s high wearing comfort. The Levamed® E+motion® is produced by the unique knitting technique (medi Soft Edge) – thus the support for soft tissue compression does not cut into the ankle and also remains comfortable when worn for a longer period of time.

Properties
Clima Fresh: The integrated Clima Fresh function has an odour-inhibiting effect. This is achieved via special thread technology or via special processing during the production process.
The elaborately worked knit ensures a balanced microclimate of the skin. Moisture is transported reliably and quickly from the inner surface to evaporate from the outer surface. At the same time, the material’s active breathing structure guarantees the necessary oxygen supply.
Soft zones in the sensitive flexor areas ensure that the support does not press on or cut into the skin, even when worn all day long.
