This fresh line of supports delivers exceptional performance for the knee, ankle, elbow, and back. The blend of a contemporary, athletic design and medical advantages are particularly appealing to dynamic individuals seeking more: enhanced stability, comfort, and functionality.
E+motion sports supports merge over seven decades of compression expertise with cutting-edge German technology.
“Best back support I’ve had.”
Simon Hüttel, co-trainer of the Nordic Combined at DSV, wore the Lumbamed plus E+motion for the back
A trio of performance elements, including material, fit and knitted fabric, combine to provide support for your joints with every movement:
Incorporating merino wool and Dry Skin technology.
The presence of merino wool is natural, resists odour and regulates temperature. Dry Skin technology ensures moisture is drawn away from the skin to the surface of the fabric up to twice as quickly.*
Sports knit that is ergonomic – providing comfort with every movement and a near crease-free fit.
The generous movement zones offer maximum flexibility in flexion areas – ensuring freedom of movement exactly where required.
Stability, massaging capabilities and strength in fabric.
Elastic threads result in the knitted fabric being over 25 percent tighter and 10 percent thinner than other fabrics.* The 3D silicone quartz pads create a soothing massage effect during movement and boosts blood circulation.
“Perfect for all sport activities.”
Nina Jung, physio therapist of the Nordic Combined at DSV, on the Levamed E+motion for the ankle
“The support gives me more stability in my lower back and I feel more comfortable when skiing.”
Toni Tremmel, ski racer at DSV, wore the Lumbamed plus E+motion for the back
Excelling with E+motion sports supports
Our E+motion supports have been rigorously tested by top athletes, focusing on the key elements of material, fit, and compression. The importance of elasticity, ergonomic design, and comfort increases the closer a piece of clothing - or support - is worn to the body.1
E+motion supports find their use in everyday training, competitions, recovery periods, and casual wear. We sincerely appreciate the trust bestowed upon us and the shared
experiences of the athletes. Their stellar performances are a testament to the top-notch performance of our supports.
“The support stabilises the ankle joint perfectly. This makes it feel more secure.”
Laura Häusl, skicross rider at DSV, wore the Levamed E+motion for the ankle
The rapid wicking of moisture is deemed crucial by 92 per cent of athletes surveyed, especially in sports products worn close to the skin, as dampness negatively impacts comfort. The choice of fabric and its composition are critical to prevent clothing – or supports – from sticking to the skin. Perspiration is channelled to the outside of the support, where it gradually evaporates into the surrounding air.² This ensures that moisture does not linger on the skin.
The E+motion supports, which due to the Dry Skin technology wick away moisture up to twice as fast as other products, received a high score of 4.14 out of 5.*
Merino wool exhibits several characteristics favoured by athletes: given a choice, many prefer sports products containing merino wool. Users are increasingly insisting on mulesing-free wool to ensure animal welfare.
Merino wool is found comfortable on the skin by 92 percent. The thermoregulating effect is appreciated by 54 percent. Odour neutrality is valued by 46 percent.
Athletes place high importance on fit and ergonomics. Users anticipate that the support will be comfortable to wear. A support must fit securely without creasing and still permit freedom of movement – especially at the flexion areas of the joints.³
The E+motion Performance supports scored an impressive 4.6 out of 5 for their close fit.
Stability and security are vital in sports, and not just post-injury. Proprioception (depth sensitivity), which is the ability to perceive joint position, joint motion and muscle E⁺motion sports supports power, plays a key role here. Enhanced proprioception improves the muscular control of the joint, leading to stabilisation, an increased sense of security and improved resilience.4
All participants agreed that wearing a support lends their joint greater security and stability. (62 percent "much more stable", 38 percent "somewhat more stable"). 85 percent found the compression pressure to be "just right".
“The perfect way to get back into training, especially after a ligament injury. You feel much more confident when jogging or jumping, for example.”
Vanessa Hinz, former biathlete at DSV, wore the Levamed E+motion for the ankle
