The protect.Ankle foot orthosis is a spring-loaded peroneal brace for correction and/or load relief on the foot position.
Indications
All indications which require the load relief for the foot/ for the foot to be corrected within a specific functional area during walking, primarily following flaccid paralysis of the dorsiflexion muscles, such as:
- Following peroneal nerve paralysis
- Following damage to lumbar nerve root(s)
- Following a stroke
