Ankle brace for the functional recovery from ligament instabilities and injuries
The medi Ankle RTS is an advanced ankle brace for functional recovery from ligament instabilities and injuries, offering a secure and comfortable fit.
It is suitable for all indications in which a stabilisation of the upper and lower ankle joint in one plane is necessary, such as:
- Ankle sprains / injuries
- Chronic ligament instability in the upper and/or lower ankle
- As a preventative measure particularly during sports or after previous supination injuries
- Mild injuries to the syndesmotic ligaments
The medi Ankle RTS provides reliable support and helps prevent ankle twisting and instability. Its anatomical U-shaped stabilising element is shaped around the ankle bones (malleoli) to maintain an optimum level of comfort.
The stabilising element works in combination with the power-lift function (tension via the talus strap) to effectively protect the ankle ligaments and joint capsule and prevent unhealthy joint movements. The Easy-2-Strap Velcro system and fully front-opening design make it quick and simple to put on (donning), adjust, and remove.
Its slim, lightweight profile fits comfortably in most types of shoes, and the full wrap design avoids any potential swelling while ensuring an ideal fit. A specific left and right foot option ensures optimal comfort and stability throughout activity or recovery.
