Cosmetic surgery

The term cosmetic surgery covers all operations that are performed to improve or rejuvenate a person's appearance, rather than their health.

Common surgical procedures

For example, varicose veins can be removed by vein surgery. As a rule, so-called vein stripping and sclerotherapy for varicose veins are only possible with surgery. Besides the classic varicose vein operation on the legs, procedures on the chest and waist region are also very common.

These include liposuction, abdominoplasty and breast augmentation, reduction or lifting.
