Indications

• reconstruction after rotator cuff ruptures
• immobilisation after shoulder prosthesis implantation
• conservative or post-operative treatment after subacromial bursitis
• partial ruptures of the rotator cuff
• after acromioplasty
• relaxation of the ventral limbus and of the capsule components after open and arthroscopic shoulder stabilisation
• conservative immobilisation of shoulder luxations/dislocations

Mode of action

• lateral positioning with anatomically shaped and fitted cushion to relieve the ventral limbus and the capsule
• 30° or 45° abduction position to avoid adhesions to the axillary recess (frozen shoulder)
• secure fixation of the shoulder joint with additional upper arm pad
• post-operative, active and passive mobilisation of hand, wrist and elbow joint
• early functional after care; enhances post-operative physiotherapy
