Inflatable shoulder abduction pillow
Indications
- impingement syndrome in acute or chronic inflammation and after open or athroscopic decompression and acromioplasty
- reconstruction after rotator cuff ruptures
- shoulder prosthesis implantation
- frozen shoulder after anaesthesia
Mode of action
- immobilisation of shoulder joint at 10° to 60° degrees abduction
- temporary pressure relief on the subacromial space
- optional weightless mobilisation of the shoulder joint in the horizontal plane at 60° to 70° degrees abduction
- mobilisation to prevent adhesions in the subacromial, subcoracoid and subdeltoid spaces
- upper arm pad provides additional security for the shoulder joint

- simple and secure fastening of the forearm, under arm and upper arm straps
- comfortable “tennis ball” hand rest; opportunity to train forearm muscles
- supplied with pump
