Indications

• impingement syndrome in acute or chronic inflammation and after open or athroscopic decompression and acromioplasty
• reconstruction after rotator cuff ruptures
• shoulder prosthesis implantation
• frozen shoulder after anaesthesia

Mode of action

• immobilisation of shoulder joint at 10° to 60° degrees abduction
• temporary pressure relief on the subacromial space
• optional weightless mobilisation of the shoulder joint in the horizontal plane at 60° to 70° degrees abduction
• mobilisation to prevent adhesions in the subacromial, subcoracoid and subdeltoid spaces
• upper arm pad provides additional security for the shoulder joint
